fantastic spot for city strolls and stunning park views

We had a superb time discovering the nearby Valley of the Rocks, which is just under 2.5 km away, and enjoyed the beautiful views at Woody Bay, a lovely short walk from the guest house, making our weekend all the more delightful.

the lyn valley is perfectly located right by the river, allowing us to hear the soothing sounds of the gorge at night. the deluxe king room was spacious, and we loved the superior breakfast with plenty of tasty cooked options. the staff were delightful and attentive during check-in and breakfast.

The Deluxe King Room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, featuring a lovely view of the valley. Breakfast was particularly memorable with homemade Belgian waffles, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Despite the lovely stay, the lounge area felt a bit small for larger groups, and more variety in the beverages at the honesty bar would enhance the experience.

I must say the sherry in the room was a fantastic touch. Plus, having the staff react so quickly to my needs and offer help with local dining spots made the experience really good.

We loved the sherry in our room and the honour system bar! The decor was charming and we felt right at home. Room 5 had a fantastic size and a beautiful view. Plus, the local walks were right on our doorstep!

I had a wonderful stay for one night in a Standard King Room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The views over the ocean were stunning and the area was nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, and the bath had plenty of hot water. Highly recommend! 🌊
